Overwhelm hostiles with this jet-powered sickle and razor-chain weapon. Charged strikes ignite an explosive blast at range.
The Jat Kusar is a Grineer-built Blade and Whip with rocket boosters attached. This gives the weapon innate damage, making it effective against lightly armored enemies. This weapon was originally based off a fan design which Digital Extremes incorporated into the game.

This weapon deals damage.

Advantages:

  • Innate damage – effective against Infested and Cloned Flesh.
    • Can also be combined with damage to make
      Gas n Gas
      damage for further-increased effectiveness against the Infested.
    • Can also be combined with damage to make damage, making it effective against most Grineer units.
  • Excellent critical hit statistics.
    • Tied for highest base critical chance for melee weapons with Fragor Prime.
  • Has two V polarities.
  • Charged attacks deal explosive damage.
  • Slam attacks generate heat explosions.

Disadvantages:

  • damage is ineffective against Proto Shields.
  • No physical damage – , and .
    • Damage cannot be increased with physical damage mods.
  • Low status chance for an elemental weapon.
  • Low attack speed.
